In case you're wondering, What's with all the animals? I love nature and I wanted my personal site to reflect that adoration. It was also nature that first inspired me to draw. I began with a comic strip called Little Chicago about a bunch of critters who live in a park in the middle of downtown Chicago. Nothing ever came of this endeavor, but it has led me down the path to where I am today.
In designing logos, web interfaces, illustrations, and other graphic elements the role of imagination has always played a key role. Knowing this led me to create Spark. He has become my mascot, representing that magical element; the spark of imagination.
Many times I have sat down at the drawing board and drawn a total blank. In those times Spark has come to my rescue. Without him I would probably be working at a pizza joint somewhere, my creative soul as dry as an autumn leaf blowing in the wind.
